I am an instrumental music teacher with a keen interest in art. As a musician, I have been teaching for 35 years at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels. As an artist, I have been studying for a number of years, in drawing, both pencil and charcoal, and watercolor and oil painting. I have done tutoring in drawing and painting classes. I mostly

I mostly draw and paint in a fairly realistic style, but am willing to work in many styles. I also teach an ornamental style where various shapes can be decorated in black and white or colored pencil, or fine liner pens. I teach using a variety of skills and methods, and relate well to other people, especially children. I find a sense of humor is a particularly valuable asset.
