About Dr
I am Dr. Rosa, a multilingual educator with more than 18 years of experience in education, including language teaching, bilingual education, early childhood education, curriculum development, and educational leadership. I hold a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Leadership and Innovation and a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning.
I speak Portuguese, Spanish, and English, and I personally understand what it means to learn, communicate, and build confidence across languages. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, practical, and respectful of each learner’s individual pace and goals.
I have taught Spanish at the high school level and have worked with learners across different ages, backgrounds, and educational settings. I believe language learning should feel meaningful and achievable—not intimidating.
Through DrRosaDiversiVerse, my work continues to focus on multilingual education, language learning, cultural understanding, and helping learners recognize multilingualism as a strength.

About your lessons
My Spanish lessons are practical, supportive, and personalized to each learner’s goals. I focus on helping students build confidence using Spanish in real situations rather than simply memorizing vocabulary or grammar rules.
A typical lesson may include conversation practice, useful vocabulary, pronunciation, listening and comprehension, grammar in context, and activities based on the student’s interests and goals. Lessons are adapted to the learner’s level and pace, whether they are starting Spanish for the first time or want to strengthen skills they already have.
What sets me apart is my perspective as a multilingual educator with more than 18 years of experience in education. I understand both the teaching and learning sides of developing another language, and I create a comfortable environment where mistakes are treated as a natural part of learning.
I welcome beginners, students who need additional academic support, adults learning Spanish for travel or everyday communication, and learners who simply want more confidence speaking and understanding Spanish.
