Jason was recommended to me by locals, and I joined his open water swim group as a nervous and reluctant swimmer at Williamstown Beach in 2021. Within a few weeks, my confidence had grown, and I swam 200 meters to the closest pole. Within a few months, my swimming had improved, and I was managing 2 km swims. I appreciated Jason’s gentle approach, encouragement, and suggestions on what to focus on to improve my technique. Jason is approachable, inclusive, an excellent coach, and passionate about teaching people of all abilities to swim. He has created an incredible community of which I am proud to belong.
