About Marielle

Hello! My name is Marielle Bonghanoy, but my students usually call me Teacher Aye or Ms. Aye. I am a 20-year-old third-year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) student with a passion for both teaching and technology.

As a native Tagalog speaker, I enjoy helping students learn the language in a fun, supportive, and interactive way. I understand that every learner has different goals, so I tailor my lessons to match each student's needs, learning style, and pace. Whether you're learning Tagalog for travel, work, school, or personal growth, I am committed to helping you build confidence and communicate naturally.

About the lesson

As a native Tagalog speaker, I am passionate about helping students learn the language in a clear, engaging, and supportive environment. I understand that every student has different learning goals, whether it's speaking with Filipino friends and family, traveling to the Philippines, advancing a career, or simply exploring a new language. That's why I personalize every lesson to match each student's level, pace, and objectives.

I believe that the best way to learn Tagalog is through practical communication. My lessons combine conversational practice, grammar explained in simple terms, vocabulary building, pronunciation coaching, and real-life situations to help students use the language naturally and confidently. I create a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because I believe that's an essential part of the learning process.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous topics, followed by the introduction of new vocabulary or grammar. We then practice through interactive conversations, speaking activities, and exercises designed to reinforce what has been learned. At the end of each session, I provide a summary of the lesson along with optional exercises to help students continue improving outside the classroom.
