About Valerie
Hi there!
I'm a third year undergrad student studying commerce at Monash. Though my studies don't have much to do with music, music has always been my long standing hobby and passion. I have done up to grade 8 AMEB in flute, grade 5 AMEB in piano, grade 4 AMEB in music theory and learnt bits and pieces of guitar, violin & trumpet along the way. But mostly I would love to teach your children the flute & spread to them the fun & joy of playing music. I am in my fourth year of teaching experience now having taught a range of primary, secondary and adult students. I hope to be able to teach this wonderful instrument to you/your child too!

My lesson methods will depend on the student's and their parent's request however, I will always try to incorporate different styles of music such as duets, pop songs, disney music as well as the classical styles to expand my student's musical appreciation & knowledge. I will be happy to teach both students who wish to work towards exams and those who are pursuing a hobby!
