About Luke
I lived in America for my entire life, graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in communications.
After beginning chess 2 years ago, I rapidly climbed to reach a peak Chess.com rating of 1950. I started at the very bottom, knowing absolutely nothing about chess (even as low as 100 elo!) and little by little, I was able to teach myself enough to begin competing in tournaments. My greatest chess achievement so far has been winning my section at the Chicago Open Chess Championships in 2022, with 6/7 wins, and winning 4000 USD. (Not a bad first tournament!)
