About Anna
I’m a college student who achieved 100% in the Leaving Certificate Spanish exam, and a distinction at Junior Cert level. At 15, I did an exchange year where I attended the Spanish secondary school ‘IES Lola Flores’ in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz. Thanks to this, I have a high standard of spoken Spanish, and a thorough understanding of the grammar. I have a strong passion for languages, and hope to share this with my students. Since Spanish is not my native language, I’ve experienced the struggles that English-speakers face while learning the language. This allows me to understand the difficulties of learners and help them to overcome them.

Classes will be focused on conversational practice and immersion, helping to build the student’s confidence with the language. As well as this, time will be given to understanding grammatical concepts, writing, and comprehension. If a student finds they have a specific problem area, the class can be tailored to focus on this.
On top of the class itself, I offer correction of any homework or essays written by students for no extra charge (to a reasonable extent).
These classes will prepare students for their state exams - whether that be at Junior Cert or Leaving Cert level.
Lessons will typically last an hour, but are flexible to student's needs.
