Hi! I’m Leia, a 26-year-old law graduate who’s recently moved from London to Melbourne. I speak with Received Pronunciation and am passionate about student-led learning. I believe your lessons should be shaped by your goals, whether you want to speak more clearly, expand your vocabulary, or explore literature. Let’s make your learning journey personal, engaging, and rewarding! I also understand that partaking in these sessions can often be anxiety-inducing, which is why I offer all my lessons remote so that students are in the comfort of their own home. I want each student to feel comfortable and confident throughout our study and offer empathy to each learner.

In my lessons, you are in the driver’s seat. You’ll tell me your specific goals—whether it’s speaking more clearly, expanding your vocabulary, or diving deeper into a book you love. Each session will be tailored to your needs, focusing on what matters most to you. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your pace and learning style, ensuring your progress is both meaningful and enjoyable. My teaching methodology is that of Student-Centered Learning, and I have had success tutoring students in this way back in London. My lessons are typically aimed for teenagers aged between 13-18, however I truly believe that you are never too old to learn, so I am always happy to work with mature students. Each lesson will last 30 minutes.
