About Declan
My name is Declan and I enjoy tutoring individuals who are willing to learn. I have tutored in a classroom capacity but mostly want to be working with small groups of students as I can focus more on what each student is doing and how they are getting on with the tasks. It is important when tutoring to make sure that the students are comfortable with the groundwork before we build upon it, and so I always take the time to make sure that we firmly establish everything before we move on.
I am currently located in either Sheffield or Birmingham but would also be very happy with online lessons.

I have several years of experience tutoring in different contexts. I prefer a more 1 to 1 approach with an emphasis on making sure the basics of every method are covered and understood before continuing on to the next thing. The key to learning is patience and perseverance so attitudes should remain positive and focused.
A typical lesson length could vary, but most would be about an hour, I have worked with all ages before, up to and including A-level and would be willing to work with anyone.
