About Hassaan-Ul
Hey there! My name is Hassaan and I’m in my second year at Imperial College London studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering. I am currently a part-time tutor primarily for A Level & GCSE Maths, Further Maths and Physics. Having studied these subjects myself, I know and can easily identify the problems that many students face.
Maths is a subject that requires conceptual understanding, something that is not easily developed from just knowing what the answers to a question are. Therefore, I focus on laying the foundations of major concepts and then providing a certain level of confidence in these topics that will allow them to excel. Using these same techniques to learn myself, I achieved the following scores in my A Level Maths and Further Maths: C1 (93), C2 (97), C3 (100), C4 (100), FP1 (92), FP2 (100), FP3 (96), M1 (100), M2 (100), S1 (88), S2 (92) and D1 (84), totalling up to 590/600 UMS for Maths and 552/600 UMS for Further Maths.
With my two years of one-to-one and class tuition experience at a professional tuition company, I was able to further develop my tutoring skills by finding out what the needs of different students are when it comes to learning styles and so providing a tailored teaching plan for them using a specification as well as tiered exam questions. I also have experience of teaching a variety of different exam boards such as Edexcel, AQA and OCR along with their new specifications.
