I approach each topic with the aim of giving the student not only the confidence of knowing how to get the answer but I also strive for the student to understand where the answer has came from to develop a deeper long lasting understanding of the topic. I work on a revise consolidate and review technique where I first teach the technique used and how to achieve the answer, then get the student to work through examples and then test the student with out my help until both the student and I feel confident enough to move on and learn more.
