About Finley
My name is Finley, and I am a current A level maths student who received A* at GCSE level and is passionate about maths as a subject. I regularly try to deepen my understanding of maths and mathematical skills in everyday life by doing things such as attending maths conferences etc. As well as being passionate about the subject, I also possess key skills which aid the process of people learning such as patience and understanding. I enjoy teaching others and have experience leading KS3 maths lessons and running GCSE revision sessions at my school.

Maths is one of the most vital subjects for students all across the world to receive a qualification in, as it is required by almost every different field within the labor market. The lessons provided will be aimed towards GCSE foundation and higher students. Each lessons will be catered to each students needs in order to maximise their potential. Lessons will follow a simple and effective structure to stimulate the brain, and consequently encourage students to understand what they are learning and store it in their long term memory. The format of each lesson will follow the structure of : warm up exercise, tutorial on the topic being studied, guided practise and finally independent practise. Independent practise will utilise professional standard resources, influenced by professional teachers and edited by a former GCSE student who understands what it is like to learn to the exam board.
