I am an A-level student teaching GCSE Maths and Chemistry. In these subjects I completed the new 9-1 specification meaning I am proficient in teaching the new content.

My teaching methods are always aimed at maintaining a calm environment for the student. Methods I have found most effective are teaching new/confusing topics through presentations and/or whiteboard work. Then following up by setting questions which the student and I work through simultaneously so the student is able to visualise how/where the answers are found.
