I have been teaching for High School Students in Memphis, TN and see then becoming proficient in speaking, reading g and writing. I am a native Spanish speakers and I speak 4 others languages: French, English, Portuguese and American Sign Language.

My teaching method is CI, comprehension input. My students start listening to stories and doing readings and writing the very first day. The new vocabulary is practice and inserted in the story. Then we read together and discuss questions about the reading. Then the students will be listening to music, videos, story telling and activities in the target language. Finally, the students will start writing.
