About Bida
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Cinematography from Communication University of China with 8 years of full professional visual industry experience, and now I am a first-year master’s student majoring in Animation, Game and Interactivity at RMIT University. I fully respect everyone’s unique aesthetic tastes, for I believe individual visual styles are shaped by personal upbringing and life backgrounds. I love communicating with people from all nationalities, life experiences and cultural beliefs. I also write creative texts regularly; talking to diverse people and listening to their genuine life stories fuels my creative inspiration. In my spare time, I enjoy street photography, skiing, diving, surfing, cooking, baking and reading to enrich my artistic perception.

We’ll learn photography by quietly observing the world rather than fixating on boring camera parameters. My core shooting idea is to observe like an unnoticeable fly, leaving subjects undisturbed to seize genuine, one-of-a-kind decisive moments in ordinary life.
I love wandering aimlessly through the city streets. If you’re fond of slow urban walks too, I’d love to explore misty, foggy or rainy nights taking photos together.
I’m a student with fully free spare hours, but bookings need to be made 7 days early. Face-to-face classes are my priority, and consistent regular learners are much preferred.
