About Elroy
The way mathematics is taught makes a world of difference for the person learning; having a great math teacher inspired me to study statistics at university and continue my life of continuous learning. I am currently studying to be an actuary, and tutoring allows me to keep my basic math skills sharp. I think I'd also be able to better prepare students on exam technique and ways to think about mathematics differently and intuitively.

Classes are tailored according to the students need. Generally following the school curriculum and ensuring the foundations are well understood. I also try and teach in a style the encourages thinking and problem solving rather then route memorisation, which will prepare the students for mathematics at higher levels.
I have prior experience as an academic tutor at LSE. 2 years experience being a private tutor teaching mathematics at GCSE and A level. My lessons are for anyone up to including learning A level Maths. Lesson length is an hour.
