During the course of my academics, my presentation skills and clarity in thought received particular praise for being able to translate academic analysis and present data visually for diverse audiences.
Given my academic expertise in a broad range of topics, I would be confident in teaching diverse subjects including English, Mathematics, Science and History. I also received an 8.00 overall in my IELTs exam which testifies to my English language skills.

I began grasping the value of education to its crux because of some brilliant teachers and a syllabus that transcended the monotony of learning the names and contributions of scientists or historians and into real-life phenomena using examples. Replicating this life-changing experience for other students is my biggest aspiration.
My year-long experience teaching Maths, English and Biology to less privileged children (aged 5 to 13 years) at YMCA developed my passion for teaching. Noticing the significant change in the confidence of these students after being equipped with knowledge made me excited to tackle inequality in education outcomes. This passion imbued my work as the director of Community Service at Rotaract Club in India, where I designed personal development classes for children.
My teaching experiences made me passionate about considering children’s psychology and personal challenges. A believer in encouraging students to think critically, I am equipped to deliver engaging lessons which maximise students’ holistic learning and retention skills.
