About Adam

I am simply a guy who has spent a bit too much time studying mathematics, and who is always happy to help fellow students around me.

Having interacted with many mathematics teachers over the years, I have seen different approaches to teaching the subjects: both the good & the bad ones. This has shown me a lot about how to effectively teach the subject.

Tutoring many people, I also see that there are loads of students who are capable of solving challenging problems, but are held back by small misunderstandings of the material, and unstructured teaching in the past. I take it as an aim to understand the specifics of what a student is struggling with, and tailor the best explanation given his way of thinking and natural preference.

I also know that, attending math classes not knowing what's happening can be embarrassing and stressful at times, so I want to assure you that we are going to spend our lessons in a relatively relaxing atmosphere, while I put all of my efforts in helping you achieving your academic aims.

About the lesson

I have tutored many people during my academic journey, and I believe that no two students are alike, especially when it comes to STEM and Economics. They are fields that require deep understanding of topics taught, which is why an individual teaching approach is particularly effective and valuable. Having graduated in a not so ancient past, I also recall the problems I struggled with, and explanations I needed to progress.

Through my lessons, whether you want to ace the subject or simply pass, I hope to teach you the material you might be struggling with, giving complete answers to any questions that come up along the way.

When it comes to my tutoring past, I mainly have experience in teaching my friends mathematics & statistics (both A-Level and University). I also led mathematics and physics classes for a group of 4 (gcse level) for Afghan refugees in Poland.

My A-Level grades & subjects were: Mathematics (A*), Further Mathematics (A*), Physics (A), Economics (A)

My 1st year university average is 79 (first class), having taken the following modules: Introduction to Real Analysis, Mathematical Methods, Elementary Statistical Theory, Microeconomics & Macroeconomics I

I mainly aim to provide A-Level & GCSE Mathematics and Further Mathematics lessons (as this is the curriculum I'm most familiar with), however I can definitely help with answering questions relating to IB, TMUA or SAT curriculum if given notice in advance
