About Anton

I've been using a Mac as my main machine since 2011, for work, business & software development... so perhaps I'll be able to claim 'expert' after 15 years of daily use and noodling around under the bonnet for both business & personal endeavours.

Via Superprof, I can coach on how to use the operating system on a surface (User Interface / getting-things-done) level, right through to automating common tasks using Automator, Applescripts & Launch Agents, to setting up your Mac for software development in various languages (e.g. Python, Web/HTML, Node, Swift).

So whether you need an introduction to MacOS for your work or business activity (when you're much more used to Windows), need help migrating from an old Mac to a new one, would like to understand Mac automations & terminal administration, or want to get started coding on your Mac, I can be your guide as much as or as little as you need, and you can go on from there.

I can also help you with troubleshooting hardware, software and OS issues with your Mac.

Always happy to receive lesson requests – feel free to enquire.

About the lesson

Use these Mac-only lessons (No iOS/iPadOS at this time) for:

• Getting more from your Mac
• Help with technical issues
• How do I do..?
• Setting up your Mac for Work/Business
• Setting up your Mac for Development
• Improving Mac performance (esp. older Macs)
• Speed up tasks & Workflows (scripting & automation)
• Advice on buying a new Mac
• Excel VBA on a Mac (it's different!)

We will use the free 30-minute lesson as diagnosis to find out your specific requirement or issue, and booked, paid-for lessons to target solutions to those needs.

For clarification: I do prefer to work with those who are/will be using their Mac in a Work or Business setting (I won't be able to help you with Photoshop, iMovie, Garageband etc.).

The exception might be those learning to code on their Mac (for whatever purpose).
