About Madhusmriti

Happy Learning to all!!! Though degrees and certificates don't define a person's knowledge regarding a subject but still to mention a few, I have completed Diploma of Sangeet Visharad in Hindustani classical music Vocals from Pracheen Kala Kendra Chandigarh. I have been learning music for the past 19 years and I have acquired a teaching experience of 5 years. Apart from this I am also the founder and principal of Madhuri Sangeetaloy- Affiliated to Surobharati Sangeet Kala Kendra. At present I am receiving my training from Renowned classical Vocalist Smt. Piu Mukherjee. To add on few recent achievements, I had got the opportunity to perform live in front of Hon'ble Governor of West Bengal. I have also been selected as a performer in a Bengali television channel Akash Ath for the morning live show- Good Morning Aakash.

About the lesson

Music is a subject which is based on both practical and observational approach. Just learning about notes and basics, gives us 5% knowledge of the entire subject. There are several techniques and methodology that helps one to improve them, not only in understanding the notes but also in their singing style. This is what I, Madhusmriti Adhikary, Principal and founder of Madhuri Sangeetaloy, have thought to provide you with through my online classes. Here you will be given detailed insights to the following: 1. Basic idea of Notes 2. Vocal Exercises for building up note precision. 3. Theory of Hindustani classical music. 4. Knowledge on Thaat, Raag and songs related to those. 5. Rabindrasangeet, Nazrulgeeti and all other types of songs. An addition to all these is the examination facility. "Madhuri Sangeetaloy" is affiliated to Suro Bharati Sangeet Kala Kendra and I, being the holder of an affiliated center can conduct examination to cater your learning. The board provides diploma of different levels to the successful candidates.
