About Maryann
I am a PhD student at Monash University in the Cardiovascular Pharmacology lab, my research project focuses on anti-fibrotic and anti-inflammatory drugs through the RAAS system for cardiovascular health. During my undergrad, I have done my minors in Physiology and completed honors in Pharmacology. I am currently a teaching associate at Monash University. I love teaching, and have been tutoring for over 7 years.

My teaching method is to focus on a single topic that the student needs help with and then branch out from that to combine relevant areas. I will be explaining it interactively, making sure the student comprehends the topic followed by doing worksheets/questions to consolidate that information. --> Provide personal notes and question banks for relevant topics. --> Happy to cover several topics in short periods during exam season. The experience should be enjoyable and informative for both the student and me as a tutor. :)

Perfect! Maryann is an extremely patient tutor who explained concepts of anatomy and physiology in a really easy-to-understand way. Maryann also gave good advice and tips for exams including how questions may be worded.
