Knowledge basically is of 2 types one is that what we know and what we else could know in that subject . Knowledge gaining is an endless process but for a tutors it is more important that what is useful for a child to know that to be taught first and make basics stronger of a child so that he or she could easily get through that and could score good marks in that particular subject . For eg in science we could make child learn easily through by showing experiment and videos as audio visual classes makes child to get through easily .
