About Ching Yee
Hi! I’m Ching Yee, and I’m based in Johor Bahru/Online. I work full-time in sales and HR, and tutoring is my little side passion project that I genuinely enjoy. If you’re thinking about learning Bahasa, my lessons are a fun, relaxed way to get started. I focus on real-life, conversational skills so you can actually use the language confidently in daily situations. I’m super flexible in terms of learning and timing, patient, and happy to teach in Mandarin, English, or Hokkien — whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Apa khabar? I am very keen to teach the language conversationally to adults of any age, especially those who are keen to take up a new language to assimilate into Malaysia. I am open to lessons ranging from 1h to 1.5 hours, this is completely up to you. I am also open to teaching the lesson in Mandarin/English/Hokkien. Usually, I have trial lessons first with a student to gauge their level of proficiency in the language; don't worry if you have absolutely zero foundation in the language - that makes it more fulfilling and interesting! Week by week, I move onto different topics so that the student can learn new vocabulary and grammar to use them practically in real life! 我非常乐意以会话方式教授这门语言，适合任何年龄的成人，特别是那些希望学习一门新语言以更好融入马来西亚的人。课程时长可以是 1 小时到 1.5 小时，完全取决于你的选择。我也可以用华语／英语／福建话来授课。 通常我会先与学生进行试课，以评估他们在该语言上的熟练程度；如果你完全没有基础也不用担心——那反而会让学习过程更有成就感、也更有趣！每周我都会更换不同的主题，让学生学习新的词汇和语法，并能在现实生活中实际运用。
