About Randy

I have a degree in Computer Science, lives in west for 20 years. Worked in Huawei. My hobby is Developing Computer or mobile games, creating 3D/2D animations. Read books in both Chinese and English. I am capable of explaining technical, historical, scientific, legal ideas/concepts in casual, formal, office environments with both languages. To be able to express specific ideas, one needs to understand vocabularies in the specific field, in both languages, to be able to express accurately. I can help you not only in basic conversation, but also in specific fields you may need.

About the lesson

Leaning a language is far easier and fun when a step by step system is available, especially a language with very different fundamentals from your home language, this is why Mandarin is considered the most difficult language. It's not difficult, only different. It becomes easy when you understand its fundamentals. Start from the basic structure of the language, 1) pronunciation, reduce your accent by understanding the tone structure and practice to build muscle memory of your vocal system, you can sound cool. 2) Gramma, understanding a few simple gramma rules in Mandarin, will allow you to be able to construct sentences correctly. 3) Conversation practice and correction, I train your ability to express your ideas in correct Chinese vocabulary. 4) Materials out side of class, paying tutor fee per hour to practice a language is expensive. I teach you the basic, and correct you in the lessons, most practices should be done outside of lessons. I give you music videos to learn pronunciation by singing, and movies, shows for you to learn vocabulary, and we can use these as topic for conversation practice and the following lessons. 5) I can teach you not only daily conversations, but in Commerce, technical, cultural, scientific, humor, corporate, agricultural and some legal scenarios. 6) Using my experience in training my team in Huawei, and international multicultural environment, I learned the mental condition in which people learn better. I teach with emphasis on most important notes, often with a joke to help you memorize them without effort. Learning is easy when fun!
