About Catherine
Degree in Sinology, University Leiden, the Netherlands in 1993. Tutoring and teachting Mandarin Chinese since 2010 in various schools in the Netherlands, near the German border. Classes can vary in number of students, mostly classes up to 18 students. Privat lessons are also available. Since 2010 approx. 80 students have taken the official HSK exams and succeeded in obtaining their Mandarin certificat.

Teaching methode follows the method taught at London's School of Oriental and African Studies, Lau Institute. Chinese in Steps (volume 1 to 4) is used in lessons in combination with apps and podcasts like HelloChinese and Coffee Break Chinese (RadioLingua). Suitable books will be offered for lessons in German and Dutch.
