Even as a native speaker, I still understand that learning Chinese can feel overwhelming or intimidating. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where every student feels confident to speak.
My teaching method extends beyond theoretical knowledge; I also add in the use of Chinese in real-life scenarios, which helps students navigate everyday conversations or work-related situations. My teaching style is laid-back but effective—I focus on practical, everyday conversations that you can use right away. Instead of sticking to textbooks, I incorporate real-life scenarios, like ordering food or chatting with friends, to make learning fun and relatable.
We’ll start with a quick review or a warm-up conversation. Then, I’ll introduce new vocabulary or grammar, but we won’t just learn it—we’ll use it in everyday scenarios! We’ll practice speaking a lot, doing role-plays or casual chats, and wrap up with a recap to lock in what we’ve learned.
I make sure learning feels natural. My focus is on real-world communication, so you’ll be ready for spontaneous conversations, not just memorizing phrases. I’m also patient and encouraging, so you’ll feel confident speaking from day one.
