About Kelin
Pianist Kelin Wang has appeared on concert stages throughout the world as both solo and collaborative pianist. A multiple-time winner of the Lillian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition, Kelin participated in numerous first class festivals including PianoSummer at New Paltz, Aspen, Beijing International Music Festival and Academy, and International Institute for Young Musicians, receiving great acclaim from both faculty and public. His mentors include David Geber, Sylvia Rosenberg, Julian Martin, Alexander Korsantia, Vladimir Feltsman, and Paul Ostrovsky, among other renowned artists. Kelin studied at the Middle School Affiliated to Sichuan Conservatory with Chenggang Yang before embarking on his undergraduate education at Manhattan School of Music from 2017 under the guidance of Marc Silverman. A recipient of the Harold Bauer Award and the Frances Hall Ballard Scholarship, Kelin is currently pursuing the DMA degree at Boston University under the guidance of Boaz Sharon.
Kelin is also renowned as a successful and dedicated teacher in his passing teaching career. His students have been prize winners in many national and international competitions. Besides the nearly 100 percent passing rate of his numerous students on piano exams including ABRSM exam, Chinese Music Association exam and Standard Grade Examination of the Central Conservatory of Music in China, many of his students received offers with scholarships from the world most renowned music institutions including New England Conservatory of Music, Manhattan School of Music and Longy School of Music.
