About Alexis
I used to always struggle in school and easily feel discouraged when comparing myself to the other students. When my parents first introduced the idea of finding me a tutor, I would think to myself "None of my friends need one, so I don't need one". After a while of convincing, I finally agreed and it ended up becoming my favorite day of the week when I would meet up with my tutor. She wasn't just another teacher to me, she became my friend and biggest cheerleader when it came to helping me with school. After only a few weeks, I was not only caught up with the rest of my class but ahead on lessons as well. I would love to be able to help and be a role model as she was to me and to show that everyone has the potential to excel no matter what the situation is.
