About Daisy
Hi, I'm a marine scientist based in Perth, with a passion for helping students connect with the natural world through science and geography. I hold a BSc in Physical Geography and an MSc in Marine Sciences, and I currently work professionally in marine conservation. My career has taken me across the globe, collaborating with leading organizations such as WWF and The Nature Conservancy (TNC), and contributing to international efforts to protect our oceans and coastal environments. I am British and have tutored students in the UK, but I am now excited to support learners here in WA. I’m also enrolled to begin a Master of Teaching next year, as I take the next step toward fully pursuing my passion for education. I offer engaging, tailored lessons in: - Marine Biology, Marine Science, Oceanography & Geography for high school students, including those preparing for ATAR exams - Math & General Science for primary school students, aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum Whether you're aiming for top marks in Year 11–12 ATAR subjects or building foundational skills in STEM at primary level, I adapt my teaching to suit your goals, learning style, and interests. I love making complex topics accessible and inspiring curiosity about the world around us.
