About Ammar

I am a PhD university professor, researcher, writer, and multidisciplinary educator with more than 25 years of teaching experience.

Arabic is my native language, and I teach it through a structured approach that connects pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and communication. I have worked with children, school and university students, adult beginners, heritage learners, professionals, and advanced learners seeking greater accuracy in formal Arabic.

My teaching philosophy is based on a clear principle: language is learned most effectively when rules are connected to meaning and practical use.

I do not teach grammar as disconnected terminology. I explain how words and sentences are formed, demonstrate the rule in meaningful examples, and help learners apply it through reading, conversation, writing, and correction. When a concept is difficult, I present it gradually through comparison, repetition, visual organization, and increasingly complex examples.

My expertise includes:

• Modern Standard Arabic for beginners through advanced learners
• Arabic alphabet, pronunciation, reading fluency, and fully vowelized texts
• Vocabulary development, conversation, listening, and practical communication
• Grammar, syntax, morphology, verb conjugation, sentence structure, and iʿrāb
• Reading comprehension, writing, spelling, punctuation, and paragraph development
• Stories, literary texts, text analysis, academic Arabic, and formal expression
• Arabic instruction for children, heritage learners, adults, and non-native speakers
• Homework, examinations, school curricula, university assignments, and professional needs
• English- and French-supported explanations when they are useful to the learner

Lessons are personalized to your level, age, background, and objectives. I can help you learn systematically from the beginning, strengthen weak foundations, improve conversation, understand difficult grammar, correct writing, prepare for an examination, or develop advanced reading and analytical skills.

My goal is to help you become an accurate, confident, and independent Arabic learner. You should leave each lesson understanding the language rule, recognizing it in context, and knowing how to apply it in future communication.

Arab

Arabic becomes much easier when vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, reading, writing, and real communication are connected clearly.

My lessons help you move beyond memorizing isolated words or grammatical rules. You will learn how Arabic sentences are formed, how words change according to their role, how to read with greater accuracy, how to express ideas clearly, and how to use the language with increasing confidence.

Each lesson is personalized to your age, current level, linguistic background, academic curriculum, examination, professional objective, or personal interest. We begin by identifying your existing abilities in reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary. We then establish a focused learning plan.

The first free lesson combines a discussion of your background, objectives and tutoring needs, an initial assessment of your current knowledge, personalized planning and scheduling, and a short trial lesson so that we can determine the most effective way to work together.

You may bring your textbook, school materials, writing, story, examination paper, or personal learning objectives. I can also prepare structured lessons and exercises adapted to your level.

My objective is not merely to correct one sentence or help you memorize a rule. It is to help you understand how Arabic works, use it accurately, and develop the confidence to read, write, understand, and communicate independently.

Details

The first free lesson is a structured introductory and trial session. We will briefly introduce ourselves—including your academic or professional background and my relevant expertise—clarify your objectives, deadlines and tutoring needs, and assess your current knowledge through discussion and a short diagnostic activity. We will then establish a focused learning plan and schedule for future lessons. The remaining time will be used for a short trial lesson on a representative concept or problem, allowing you to experience my teaching approach before deciding whether to continue.
