About Octavio
Students often come to me when the sound of a native Spanish speaker talking at full speed feels like a wall of static. I spent 11 years working within the UK school system before transitioning to private practice, where I have since mentored 469 pupils through the rigours of GCSE, A-level, and beyond.
My Master of Arts in Hispanic and French Studies from King's College London provides the structural foundation for everything I teach. I specialise in bridging the gap between Latin American vs Castilian variants while refining your reading comprehension and formal writing skills. Whether you require business Spanish for professional growth or simply need to master verb conjugation and complex idioms and expressions, I am here to help you succeed.

Pacing is the single most important factor in language acquisition, so I keep our momentum high and our feedback loops incredibly tight. I have spent 10 years observing how learners process information, so I stop the noise and focus only on the specific areas where you struggle. My approach is to address your errors as they happen so you never internalise a mistake or build a bad habit. I cater to those seeking a free trial lesson to assess your level because I value transparency in how we will work together.
We will examine the subtle differences in vocabulary and syntax that define professional communication in the Spanish-speaking world. You should expect a direct, no-nonsense environment where your progress is measured by the quality of your output rather than the time we spend chatting. I rely on my experience with 469 students to predict exactly where you might get stuck and how to push through it. Do you feel ready to start this process with a clear objective in mind?
