About Sidhi

As a passionate Bahasa Indonesia teacher since 2016—ranging from teaching beginners to working with a Cambridge Curriculum Global Director—I strive to make every lesson both effective and enjoyable. I understand that each student is unique, which is why I take the time to carefully plan and tailor my lessons to fit your individual needs and proficiency level. Whether you’re just starting out or aiming to master the language at an advanced level, I am committed to supporting you every step of the way. In addition to my teaching background, I’ve gained extensive experience in translation, working on a variety of projects from articles to subtitles, as well as writing for art curation and cultural pieces. About the lesson

I invite you to explore Bahasa Indonesia in the most effective way—step by step! This class is perfect for both beginners and intermediate learners. For beginners, we begin with the fundamentals—building a solid foundation in basic conversational skills. From there, we gradually dive deeper into the intricacies of Bahasa Indonesia's grammar, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of both speaking and writing.

For intermediate learners, I’ll help you read simple texts and understand recorded conversations. Whether you're into grammar and theory or just want to have fun with the language, we’ll tailor the lessons to fit your interests. Feel free to ask me anything about Bahasa Indonesia—its context, politics, history, or culture! And if you just want to chill and chat in Indonesian, that works too. Throughout the lessons, you’ll be encouraged to practice speaking and immerse yourself in the language.
