Dedicated educator who creates a hands on learning environment through “I do, we do, you do” example problems to provide ample opportunities for student growth!
Intended for mathematics learners in grades 4-8.
I begin my lesson with a starter problem to quickly gather where the knowledge of the learner is and adapt my lesson plan to their understanding. I then provide a small amount of notes over the given topic where we will conduct example problems in the “I do, we do, you do” format. I end my lessons with an exit slip to gather the knowledge the learner began with compared to what they left with.
