About Samuel
Let me give you a quick introduction. I have spent the last 16 years teaching Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and the Sciences. Over nearly two decades in education, my mission has remained the same: to transform intimidating formulas and complex scientific concepts into powerful tools that you can master and use with confidence.
People often ask me why I chose to teach, and why I continue to love it after all these years. The answer is simple: I teach because I love witnessing the moment everything clicks for a student. I want to teach you because I believe that anyone can excel in advanced math and science when they have the right partner in their learning journey. I am not here to just deliver information or have you copy down notes from a board. I am here to help you develop a sharp, analytical mind, to show you the real-world impact of what we study, and to build an environment where your curiosity drives the class.
My goal is to help you see that advanced subjects are not barriers—they are gateways to incredible opportunities. I am deeply invested in your academic growth, and I choose to be in the classroom every day because I know the skills we build here will set you up for long-term success. Hello and welcome!
Over the past 16 years, I have had the privilege of guiding students through the worlds of Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and the Sciences. If there is one thing nearly two decades in the classroom has taught me, it is this: you do not truly learn by just sitting back and listening to a tutor. You learn by doing, by questioning, and by discovering.
In this class, we are going to change how you look at formulas and equations. We will not just memorise steps to pass a test; we will uncover the "why" behind the logic. Science and advanced math are not just subjects in a textbook—they are tools to solve real-world puzzles, and you will learn how to use them.
My approach to teaching is built around you. Your voice, your questions, and your unique way of thinking matter here. We will build on your natural strengths, and most importantly, we will make this classroom a safe place to make mistakes.
