I have 7 years of experience teaching private lessons to individual students, as well as 2 years of experience conducting tutorials to university level student to class sizes over 30.
When teaching an individual student I like to evaluate their level of understanding before we advance to the next level. I like to let them express their strengths and weaknesses to me so I can adequately gage where their level of understanding is at. From this point I will reinforce the basic concepts they will need to establish a strong foundation moving forward in their learning. I will then tailor their lesson plans as needed based off of their progress.
