About Amber
Teaching has been my passion! I feel that we learn more from students than what they learn from us. Once it becomes a back and forth process, learning can flow! I worked with high school students who were facing behavior and learning challenges. They had come to high schoolwith pre conceived notion that they are not good as others. In my position, I had to give them confidence, help with their self esteem, encourage and motivate them and in the process, engage with effective learning.

I strongly believe that every child is unique with their own strengths and we as educators need to utilize them while teaching. Differentiation is the key! That is, tailoring each lesson based on student's needs. Also, it needs to be linked up both with past knowledge and interest so that students can easily join the pieces. Lastly, there can be no learning without fun!
