About Toni
My highest goal is to have the student build on the skills they have and to develop further in areas where they have thought they couldn't. Working with students in small group settings has given me the opportunity to enter into more in-depth learning and the ability to give more time to the individual. In this situation students gain confidence in their ability seeing I care and want to provide them the assistance they need.

I have been teaching English, Geography and History to secondary students for the past 17 years. In that time I have worked with a variety of students ranging from low-level learners through to gifted students. Having taught in Queensland I follow the Australian Curriculum. My teaching style is modified to suit the learner and is based on their ability level. In my years of teaching I have also worked in learning support and have experience modifying work to help the student understand what they are required to complete and how to complete it successfully.
I teach years 7 to 10 with lesson time running for one hour.
