About Sophie
Hi! My name is Sophie and I am a special education teacher during the school year, and a free ride ski coach and athlete in the winter. I am working to earn my MA in SpEd at Western Colorado University. I graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a B.S. in Natural Sciences.
I currently live and work in a small Colorado town with my puppy, Zuzu. In my free time I love to trail run, read by the river, and bake cakes for my friends.

I like to tailor my lessons to each individual student.
I always start with a warm-up, followed by a fun and engaging scaffolded lesson that utilizes research-backed methods in mathematics and science instruction, ending with a quick exit ticket to measure your student's progress.
My lessons are best for students K-12 as I am a special education generalist.
