About Aashish
Hi, I’m Aashish. I’m passionate about teaching math because I know how frustrating it can be when concepts don’t click right away. My goal is to make learning clear and approachable, breaking things down so you actually understand—not just memorize. I want to help you build confidence in problem-solving and see math as something useful, not intimidating. My Approach to Tutoring I design lessons that are engaging, clear, and adapted to the learner’s style. For mathematics, I focus on breaking complex ideas into simple, logical steps, using real-world examples and problem-solving strategies to build both understanding and confidence. I encourage active participation, asking guiding questions so students can discover solutions themselves. Lesson Structure A typical lesson runs for about 60 minutes, starting with a quick review, then introducing new concepts through explanation and worked examples, followed by guided practice and a short recap. Experience & Qualifications I hold a Master of Information Technology and am currently completing my Master of Teaching (Secondary) with a Mathematics major. My background has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, manage different learning needs, and create a supportive environment. Who I Teach I work with secondary school students, adult learners, and anyone looking to strengthen their mathematics skills or build confidence in problem-solving. I adapt lessons for different levels, from foundational skills to advanced topics, and for learners from diverse cultural backgrounds.
