About Scarlett
As a dedicated and experienced music educator with over 8 years of teaching violin and electric violin, my journey in music began with a deep-seated passion for both performance and pedagogy. I pursued and completed a Master's degree in Instrumental and Vocal Performance, which laid a strong foundation in music theory, technique, and interpretation.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners taking their first steps in music to advanced players refining their artistry. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a nurturing and inspiring environment where each student feels supported and motivated to explore their musical potential. I take pride in understanding each student's unique learning style and goals, tailoring my approach to meet their individual needs.
My approach to teaching encompasses a comprehensive curriculum that combines technical proficiency with artistic expression. I believe in building a solid foundation through rigorous practice of scales, exercises, and etudes, while also encouraging creativity and exploration through diverse musical genres. Whether teaching classical repertoire, contemporary pieces, or exploring the possibilities of electric violin, I aim to instill a deep appreciation for music and its transformative power in my students.
Continual professional development is integral to my practice as an educator. I actively seek opportunities to expand my knowledge of music pedagogy, incorporate innovative teaching methods, and stay updated with advancements in technology and music education resources. This commitment ensures that my teaching remains dynamic, effective, and relevant to the evolving needs of my students.
Ultimately, my goal is to inspire and empower students to cultivate a lifelong love for music. I am dedicated to fostering not only technical proficiency but also creativity, confidence, and a deep-seated passion for artistic expression through violin and electric violin instruction. It is immensely fulfilling to witness my students grow and flourish in their musical journey, knowing that I have played a role in nurturing their musical talents and love for music.

In my violin and electric violin lessons, I focus on creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students can thrive and develop their musical skills. With over 8 years of experience as a music teacher and a Master's degree in Instrumental and Vocal Performance, I offer comprehensive instruction tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
Each lesson is carefully structured to cover fundamental techniques, repertoire exploration, and musical interpretation. For beginners, we start with foundational skills such as proper posture, bowing technique, and basic music theory. As students progress, we delve into a diverse range of music genres—from classical to contemporary and jazz—tailoring lessons to suit their musical preferences and aspirations.
I believe in a holistic approach to music education that integrates technical proficiency with creativity and expression. Beyond teaching instrumental techniques, I emphasize musicality, encouraging students to develop their own interpretation and emotional connection to the music they play. Whether learning classical masterpieces or experimenting with electric violin effects and improvisation, I aim to nurture a well-rounded musician capable of versatile and expressive performance.
To enhance learning, I incorporate modern teaching resources and technology, including interactive exercises, audiovisual aids, and digital music tools. This ensures that lessons are engaging and relevant, keeping students motivated and eager to explore new musical horizons. Regular feedback and progress assessments help track development and provide clear milestones for improvement.
Overall, my goal is to inspire a lifelong love for music and empower students to reach their full potential as violinists. I am dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching learning experience that equips students with the skills, confidence, and passion to excel in their musical journey.
