About Ray
I taught Interior Design at the college level for one year after completing my Master's Degree. Courses I taught include Drafting, Materials, Office Design, Healthcare Design, Portfolio Prep, and Interdisciplinary Community Visioning, from Freshman to Senior level. I believe design is for everyone, so if you are pre-college, or in college looking for some extra support, or just someone looking to expand this as a hobby, I am here to make design accessible to you!

My background is diverse, coming from Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture Design, and Industrial Design all rolled into one. If you are interested in design, I can walk you through the design process and teach you manual and digital skills you need throughout the creative process.
If you need help with specific technical skills like drafting, 1- and 2-point perspective, understanding floor plans, sections, and elevations, or general sketching, I am ready to dive into this in detail with you!
If you are wanting to learn to use software for digital documentation to create 2D and 3D drawings, models, and photorealistic renderings, I can teach you these! Programs I teach include SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, VRay, Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Sketchbook Pro. I am an expert at photorealistic rendering and have been doing this professionally as a freelancer since 2017.
