About Nattie
Hi, I’m Nattie! I’ve been speaking Mandarin for over 21 years — it’s my native language — and I’m fluent in English, so don’t worry if you’re just starting out. I’ll guide you clearly and patiently, every step of the way. I’m not just a teacher — I’m your personal cheerleader. My students often say I have a warm, outgoing personality, and that they feel instantly comfortable in class. I’m known for my patience, my humor, and especially my ability to notice your strengths — even when you don’t see them yourself — and help you build on them with confidence. With teaching experience and students from all over the world, I’ve learned how to adapt to different learning styles and personalities. Whether you’re shy or talkative, a complete beginner or already on your way, I’ll create a class that fits you. I believe learning should never be boring. Expect real conversations, lots of laughter, and the kind of encouragement that helps you speak up, even when you’re unsure. You’ll leave every class feeling motivated, supported, and one step closer to your language goals! Outside of teaching, I’m also a travel blogger! I love exploring new cultures and have solo-traveled to places like Egypt, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. I enjoy challenging myself through surfing, Muay Thai, and rock climbing — and I bring that same adventurous spirit into my teaching.

I’m Nattie — a native Mandarin speaker who teaches in clear, fluent English, and your energetic and friendly Chinese tutor!
With one year of teaching experience, I’ve helped students from all around the world — including the US , UK , Australia , New Zealand , Canada , Korea , Indonesia , Portugal and Italy — improve their spoken Chinese through fun, practical, and confidence-boosting lessons. I’ve taught learners of all ages and truly enjoy seeing each student grow and speak more fluently.
