About Akemini
I am a fourth year university student studying neuroscience at the uofa who excelled in all of grade 7-12 math with 95% and above as well as getting 100% in math 7Pre-AP 9Pre-AP, 20AP, and 30 AP. All topics of math I fully understand, even trigonometry and algebra. I have 5 years of experience in tutoring with all grades k-12.

My teaching method is a slow but straight forward approach. Lots of examples I find leads to a greater success rate. I’m not one for basing math learning off of notes, while they can help in remembering some of the basic techniques, learning math is best hands on dealing with as many forms of the question as possible. Adding in the appropriate humour here and there I have found to be extremely helpful in engaging someone to want to continue learning.
