About Lenita
I understand that many students struggle with math and may feel anxious or intimidated when it comes to working through complex problems. That's why I work hard to establish a supportive and encouraging environment that helps students feel more confident in their abilities.
To establish my legitimacy as a tutor, I have a strong 10 year background in mathematics and education. I have a degree in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and have completed extensive coursework in calculus, algebra, statistics, and other advanced math topics. I also have experience teaching math at the high school and college level, as well as tutoring students one-on-one.

As a math tutor, my approach is to tailor my teaching style to the unique needs and learning styles of each student. I understand that every student has their own strengths and weaknesses when it comes to math, and it's my job to identify those areas and develop a personalized plan for improvement. My lessons are tailored for 6th-12th grader math students.
