About Kiruba
Since I was a child I have always had an intrinsic passion for machines, toys, or simply anything Mechanical. This passion made me opt for Mechanical Engineering as my undergraduate specialization with a Minor in Engineering Physics. Halfway through my undergrad, I realized the importance of having multi-disciplinary knowledge in engineering, so I chose to do my Master's in Mechatronics Engineering at UBC.

While I wish to tutor Math and Physics on this platform, I am most passionate about the former for a variety of reasons. First, I used to be so scared of math back in grades 4-6; I used to hate it with all my heart! In grade 7 I met amazing teachers who found new ways to make the subject more interesting to me rather than finding new ways to teach the subject. Once I had that light bulb moment and found math interesting, I never stopped solving problems - MATH BECAME SO FUN!
With this passion for the subject, I was also able to clear IIT-JEE which is one of the toughest examinations to clear in the world.
What I wish to accomplish apart from teaching difficult math concepts in an elegant and easily understandable way, is to cultivate the interest/liking for math among students. If students start liking math, everything else becomes easy.
