About Lacey
"You might be struggling with the physical demands of playing the violin or refining your technique. It is a genuine observation that I work best with students who want to master intonation and posture and hold.
Having completed a Master of Music at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, I have spent 13 years helping people navigate these challenges. My experience includes teaching 277 students to conquer difficult spiccato and staccato bowing.
We often look at double stops to add depth to your sound. Sometimes I find myself practicing right alongside you to demonstrate how to shift or maintain relaxation. I truly enjoy the process of turning a complex passage into something that feels natural under your fingertips."

This resource helps you review exactly what we covered regarding your bow control and left-hand placement. We maintain a steady pace during each session.
I break down orchestral playing sections to ensure you understand every nuance of the score. We focus on listening to your intonation and refining your technique through repetition. I promise to keep our time together focused on clear progress and practical tools you can use immediately."
