About Clair
Clair has a student-centric focus during classes; she is strict on student discipline and rigorous in the progress of their technical skills. However she believes that the key to improvement for any student is for them to gain a sense of enjoyment first. Whilst she is immensely dedicated to their practical growth, she strives to instil a sense of confidence and control in her students.
With more than 13 years of experience in AMEB and ABRSM, she is capable of delivering a balanced musical education for students of all ages, no matter their beginning skill level or musical tastes. Clair is offering piano lessons at her home studio in Burwood as well as at students’ homes situated near the Burwood area in the following suburbs: Burwood East, Mount Waverley, Box Hill, Surrey Hills, Canterbury, Camberwell, Glen Iris, Ashburton, Ashwood, Mount Waverley, Chadstone.

Clair is a passionate and reliable piano teacher who is a Bachelor of Music student at the University of Melbourne. She is now under the tutelage of Dr. Tamara Smolyar at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, who has been the primary influence in Clair’s European-style approach to teaching.
