About Sujat
Hello! I’m Sujat, a PhD researcher at the University of Western Australia with a strong academic background in Agricultural Science and Agronomy. I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts in a simple and practical way. I want to teach because I’m passionate about sharing knowledge, building confidence, and supporting students to achieve their learning goals. I’m patient, friendly, professional, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions and improving.

I believe effective tutoring should be student-centered, practical, and engaging. I first assess the student’s current knowledge and learning needs, then adapt my teaching style to their level and goals.
My teaching methodology combines clear explanations, real-life examples, guided practice, questions, and regular feedback. I encourage students to understand the concepts rather than simply memorize information. I also break complex topics into smaller, manageable steps and use visual explanations, examples, and problem-solving activities where appropriate.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes, although I can adjust the duration depending on the student’s age, level, subject, and learning objectives.
I have an academic background in Agricultural Science and Agronomy, including a Master’s degree and current PhD research at the University of Western Australia (UWA). I have several years of academic and research experience, including working with students and colleagues on scientific projects, data analysis, laboratory work, and research activities. These experiences have helped me develop strong communication, explanation, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
I am particularly comfortable tutoring high school, undergraduate, and adult learners, especially students who need support with science, agriculture, biology, environmental science, research skills, and related subjects. I am also happy to adapt lessons for beginners or students who need additional support to build confidence and strengthen their fundamentals.
