My teaching method is to ignite interest in subjects by using practical analogies, and easy to remember methods and find individual student based ways to motivate to study.
My first session would include a time to understand where the issues are and what needs focus, then work with the student to achieve a task. At the end I would get the student to give themselves a task for next lesson.
At the next lesson we would start by checking over the task they gave themselves, then work on ways to improve. We would then repeat this processes, as a way of setting simples goals. I believe this helps the student to realise it is all achievable, and often individuals need to create their own study path to engage.
I have a bachelor degree from USYD in Animal and Veterinary Bioscience, honours in wildlife conservation genetics, and currently a Masters in Science, major marine biology, research project on conservation genetics with turtles.
I have an 8year younger sister who I have tutored through her HSC.
I have also taught english and environmental classes to local children (4-10y) in Tanzania for 6 months.
Lessons can be cancelled until up to 1 hour prior or full fee is to be paid.
