About Jack
I always found the biggest challenge of studying maths is in intuition - if you cannot imagine a scenario where concepts apply, how can you understand, apply and remember the concept?
Throughout school, I enjoyed breaking down concepts to more manageable steps for my peers. Since taking up 5 years of engineering at university, I have spent my time developing techniques to approach real-world problems from a range of perspectives.
I am an enthusiastic and approachable tutor who thinks that effective learning starts with a comfortable environment where students can confidently ask questions.

As a student myself, I know that everyone approaches their learning slightly differently. That's why I tailor my sessions to each student's requirements, whether we work together through tough problems or discuss new concepts with technical and accessible explanations.
Through piano and taekwondo, I have accumulated experience teaching students as young as 4 to as old as 60. My lessons would feel relaxed, consisting of informal discussions about relevant content for an hour with small assignments given to supplement.
